OUR MISSION

To protect, preserve, and restore North Tahoe rock and ice climbing areas for long term public access. This mission includes:

  • Partnering with public and private landowners to ensure continued and future access.
  • Working to make climbs and climbing areas safer by maintaining fixed hardware, managing trails, and collaborating with first responder teams.
  • Working jointly with first ascensionists and local conservationists to preserve the area’s ethics.
  • Providing services such as signage and toilets for the climbing community.
  • Organizing community events and clean-ups.

The North Tahoe Climbers Coalition (NTCC) is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization operating under the fiscal agency of the Truckee Donner Land Trust, working to preserve access to local outdoor climbing areas through stewardship, education, and community engagement.
